Image Analysis

Once the image is captured it can be analyzed using the algorithm of the particular instrument.  The data from this analysis can be displayed and used in a number of ways.

Some of the types of displays are:

Curvature Maps (dioptric or radius)
Axial
Instantaneous
Difference Maps
Threshold Maps
Elevation Maps
Three Dimensional Maps
Profile Maps

The next section of this module will illustrate and discuss the different data displays.  Not all the displays are available on all instruments.
